India’s mission to Enlighten, Inspire, and Empower drives her speaking engagements, workshops, and pastoral counseling/coaching practice. She is the founder and host of the Enlighten, Inspire, Empower Women’s Summit, a gathering that nurtures the spiritual and personal growth of women through impactful teaching and connection with subject matter experts.
She is a licensed Minister at New Psalmist Baptist Church in Baltimore and serves as an associate minister, pastoral counselor, small group facilitator, and Village Ministry leader (ages 40-59). Her deep care for congregational wellness extends through her service to bereaved families and her commitment to local missions and community outreach.
Shelley Carter Burton has a dynamic testimony of survival. She uses her story to empower women battling Breast Cancer through her empathetic mentorship. Pastor Shelley is a graduate of Coppin State University with a degree in Psychology and Health Care Education. Her love, compassion and care for people have been exemplified assiduity as she has worked in the Human Service Industry for over 27 years.
Her heart is toward young women and women alike and she is most proud of building their confidence, teaching them to acknowledge their self-worth, and raising their self-esteem through their personal experiences as she encourages, inspires and motivates them to pursue God in everything.
